Responsibilities

Acting as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor.
Compliance & Certification: Ensuring all electrical installations comply with BS 7671 (Wiring Regulations) and reviewing and signing off Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Minor Works Certificates, and testing documentation.
Conducting internal audits, inspections and assessing risk on-site across project sites.
Ensuring all electrical installations comply with BS7671 and relevant regulations.
Supporting electrical teams with technical guidance, compliance advice, and problem-solving.
Leading safe isolation and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures across projects.
Producing technical reports, audit findings, and compliance updates for management teams.
Risk mitigation through Identifying electrical hazards. Identifying recurring quality or compliance issues and supporting corrective actions.
Working closely with Project Managers, Operations Teams, and Compliance Departments to maintain high standards across all projects.
Working with the operations team with design input as required, this may include site surveys and design meetings with technical Department and/or clients.
Maintaining accurate records via Click system and issuing necessary certifications.
Managing the calibration and compliance of electrical testing equipment.
Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring compliance with current frameworks, including the Electricity at Work Regulations, BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), and Part P of the Building Regulations.
Client Adherence: Ensuring compliance of customer framework standards.

Skills & Experience

Previous and current experience as NICEIC Qualified Supervisor - Minimum 3 years in a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor
Confidence and technical competence to enrol with NICEIC as a Qualified Supervisor
An Approved Electrician Grade City & Guilds 2360 (Parts 1 & 2) and/or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent EAL Inspection and Testing 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
Strong working knowledge of BS7671
Knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations
