Printed Circuit Board Assembler | Fringe Electronics Limited | Clipstone, Mansfield
We are seeking an experienced PCB Solderer / Assembler, to join our team based in Clipstone, Mansfield. You will be responsible for the assembly of printed circuit boards in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Duties will include:-
- Preparing components and wires, including crimping and tinning
- Populating PCB’s with components
- Conventional hand soldering and assembly
- Following assembly diagrams and training instructions
- Production line testing and inspection
- Maintaining accurate manufacturing information relevant to the job
- Providing improvement ideas / feedback to the Production Supervisor
Essential experience:-
- Knowledge of components and tools used in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines
- A practical aptitude and the ability to work with your hands
- Good communication skills
Desirable:-
- Previous experience as a PCB assembler within an electronics/manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with antistatic workstations
- Experience in electronics manufacturing
- Knowledge of IPC standards
