We are currently seeking an Estimator to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a well-established company in a critical industry, working on meaningful projects that directly contribute to safety and compliance. Responsibilities:
As an Estimator within our fire door division, you will play a vital role in ensuring our projects are accurately scoped, competitively priced, and fully aligned with regulatory standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the safety and compliance of buildings across the UK.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fire door remedial works, replacements, and upgrades.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop quotations.
- Manage and prioritize incoming inquiries, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide effective solutions and maintain strong relationships.
- Use internal and external systems to analyse project requirements and develop tailored quotes.
- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to fire doors and associated works.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
We’re open to both seasoned estimators and those with the right mindset and transferable skills looking to grow in a specialist field. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with great attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with both clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Fire door knowledge is desirable, however, not essential as full training will be given
