Job Title: Senior OHA
Location: Derby, Toyota - Mon-Wed onsite and Thurs-Fri homebased
Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time or Part time (Minimum 3 days Mon-Wed)
You must have previous experience as an OHA for this role. Right to live and work in the UK is also required.
Role Summary
The Senior Occupational Health Advisor uses their experience and clinical expertise to support the Clinical Performance Manager in delivering high-quality Occupational Health services that meet both clinical and business objectives. The role combines hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities and requires flexibility to support service delivery in line with business needs.
The Senior OHA will manage their own clinical caseload, including management referrals, as well as supporting the management team. They will play a key role in supporting, training, supervising, and mentoring other OHAs, contributing to the ongoing development of clinical standards and team capability. Onsite, they will also provide emergency first aid response when required.
In addition, the Senior OHA may support wider service activities such as medical helpdesks (e.g. infectious diseases and sharps advice), clinical audit, call listening, and mentoring of new or developing team members. As a senior clinician, they will lead by example, act as a positive role model, and consistently demonstrate and promote Optima Health's values.
The hours will be Monday - Wednesday 6am - 2:18pm. Hours from home can be flexible Thursday - Friday.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required for the Role:
- At least a few years experience as an OHA
- Registered General Nurse
- Current NMC Registration
