Full job description

We are seeking an exceptional Household Manager & Personal Assistant to support a busy CEO and single-parent household.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys organisation, problem-solving, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the day-to-day running of the household, allowing the principal to focus on business, family, health and travel commitments.

This is not simply a housekeeping role. We are looking for somebody who takes pride in creating order, anticipating needs, and proactively solving problems.

Key Responsibilities

Household Management

Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented home
Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
Managing dry cleaning
Changing bedding and household upkeep
Managing household supplies and consumables
Organising storage and household systems

Food & Lifestyle

Grocery shopping
Stock management of household essentials
Meal preparation and healthy cooking
Supporting fitness and nutrition goals
Ensuring healthy meals and snacks are always available

Personal Assistant Duties

Managing appointments and bookings
Organising travel arrangements
Handling returns, deliveries and collections
Managing personal errands
Purchasing gifts and personal items
Liaising with contractors and service providers
Coordinating maintenance and household repairs

Family Support

Helping prepare for the children's visits
Keeping household routines organised
Assisting with general family logistics when required

About You

You are:

Highly organised
Trustworthy and discreet
Proactive and self-motivated
Comfortable working independently
Detail-oriented
Friendly and professional
Able to anticipate needs without constant supervision

Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Household Manager, Hotel Manager, Cabin Crew, Concierge, Housekeeper or similar role would be advantageous.

Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licence
Own vehicle
Excellent organisational skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Right to work in the UK

Desirable

Experience supporting senior executives
Experience managing private households
Meal preparation or cooking experience
Experience coordinating travel and schedules
