Full job description

Material Handler Operator

Location: Ilkeston

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

Salary: £13.50 per hour (£36,855 per annum based on a 50-hour week)

Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter after 40 hours, with additional overtime opportunities available.

We're looking for an experienced and reliable Material Handler Operator to join our busy recycling operation.

The Role

Operating Liebherr material handlers safely and efficiently.
Feeding processing equipment and loading HGVs.
Stockpile management and material movement across site.
Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting defects.
Working closely with the operations team to maintain production targets while operating safely and efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience operating Liebherr material handlers is preferred but not essential.
NPORS or CPCS material handler certification is desirable. We will also consider applicants who have been trained by an NPORS-accredited trainer, although formal certification is not essential.
Experience working in a recycling, waste, scrap, quarry or similar heavy industrial environment would be advantageous.
