Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and safe delivery of products to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel usage.

Skills

Proven experience in driving, particularly in a commercial setting.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a volumetric driver or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Valid commercial driving licence is essential for operating heavy machinery.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly personality.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Class 2: 2 years (required)
CPC (required)

Job Type and Schedule:

Monday to Friday 7:00-17:00pm
Saturday 7:00-12:00pm
