Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs
- Support food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen
- Help with organising ingredients, supplies, and equipment for efficient workflow
- Participate in food presentation and garnishing to meet quality standards
- Contribute to team management by supporting colleagues during busy service periods
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with serving duties when required, providing excellent customer service
- Support the supervision of junior staff or trainees as part of team leadership development
Experience
- Previous experience in food production, catering, or hospitality is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
- Experience in restaurant or catering environments is advantageous
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team setting, demonstrating leadership potential
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary principles is beneficial
- Prior experience in supervising or managing small teams is a plus but not mandatory
