Full job description

About the Role

As one of our a Business Development Executives, you'll be responsible for winning ‘New Logos’ by selling cloud finance software which sits within our portfolio. You'll engage with Finance Directors, CFOs and business owners to understand their challenges and demonstrate how Spectrum's solutions can transform financial management through automation, reporting and real-time insight.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Has a proven track record in B2B software or ERP sales
Enjoys building relationships with senior decision makers
Thrives in a consultative sales environment where solving business problems comes first

You'll become part of one of the fastest-growing areas of Spectrum's business, working alongside technical consultants and implementation specialists to deliver transformational finance solutions.

What You'll Do

· Generate new business opportunities across the UK

· Build relationships with Finance Directors, CFOs and senior stakeholders

· Manage your sales pipeline using CRM

· Lead discovery meetings to understand financial processes and business challenges

· Demonstrate the value of cloud finance software and automation

· Create proposals and manage opportunities through to close

· Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Consultancy teams

· Achieve revenue and gross profit targets

Role Requirements

Essential

· Proven B2B software sales experience

· Experience selling ERP, finance software or SaaS solutions

· Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

· Ability to communicate with Finance Directors and senior leadership

· Strong commercial awareness

· Full UK driving licence

Nice to Have

· Experience selling iplicit or similar cloud ERP solutions

· Understanding of financial processes

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, SAP or Oracle
