Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated FOH (Front of House) Team Members to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing friendly service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the front of house. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome from arrival to departure
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Serve food and beverages while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Manage guest queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
