Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hythe-based renderer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying render to various building exteriors, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying suitable primers before rendering
- Mix and apply render using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Ensure even application of render to achieve a smooth, professional finish on external walls
- Use bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding, and other relevant skills as required for specialised tasks
- Maintain a clean work environment and manage materials efficiently on site
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times during operations
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in rendering, bricklaying or masonry work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment used in rendering and construction
- Knowledge of carpentry, roofing, welding or related trades is advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are preferred but not essential
