Job purpose
To take ownership of marketing and communications activity for Total Sports Coaching, coordinating campaigns across our Education, Community and Football/Rugby services. You will turn service priorities into clear campaigns, content and communications that fill programmes, retain customers, promote our facilities and support growth, both online and offline. This is not a role of simply scheduling posts: real thought and strategy sits behind everything TSC does, and that is what sets us apart from our competitors. You will shape a comprehensive marketing strategy, grow our presence across social media and events, and turn interest into leads, bookings and long-term partnerships, working closely with operational delivery staff and the senior leadership team.
This is not a standalone sales role. Delivery and programme leads remain responsible for identifying opportunities and building relationships; you provide the systems, materials and campaigns that support them, turning their brief into a campaign, creating and publishing the content, and reporting on the results.
Key accountabilities
- Turn service priorities from delivery and programme leads into clear, well thought through campaigns, spanning both online and offline activity, not just individual pieces of content.
- Lead content creator across all TSC social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X), producing written, graphic, photographic and video content that increases followers, reach, engagement and positive interactions.
- Plan and manage content calendars aligned to term dates, holiday camps, school partnerships and community events.
- Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns from concept through to completion, covering both organic and paid social media activity.
- Produce offline marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations and other printed materials for schools, events and partners.
- Manage and maintain the CRM, keeping customer, school, partner and parent databases accurate and up to date.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns and newsletters to parents, schools and community partners.
- Update the website and online service information, and monitor performance using Google Analytics and platform reporting tools, producing clear insights and recommendations to improve reach, engagement and conversion.
- Continually improve the TSC website, with a focus on progressing search engine optimisation (SEO).
- Protect and evolve the TSC brand and tone of voice across all channels and services, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Collect and produce case studies, testimonials and success stories that support campaigns and build trust.
- Track enquiries generated through marketing activity, and report on campaign performance, engagement and conversion.
- Keep abreast of new platforms, technologies and digital marketing trends, bringing fresh ideas that keep TSC ahead of the curve.
- Support partnership and sponsorship opportunities that generate further income and raise brand awareness.
- Support event coordination, exhibitions, recruitment days and promotional activity, including on the day where required.
- Support internal communications and company wide announcements.
- Work closely with operational delivery staff to capture authentic stories, feedback and case studies from our programmes and camps.
- Any other duties reasonably required by the Directors and senior leadership team.

- Experience managing email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Working knowledge of social media analytics, reporting tools and Google Analytics.
- Experience running paid social media advertising campaigns.

- Availability to work flexibly across an 8am - 8pm window, including some evenings and weekends for out of hours events.
