Safety Revolution is the UK’s leading Health & Safety Consultancy, working with Farms and Estates to deliver App based management solutions. As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking conscientious, adaptable and highly motivated individuals to join us as Associate Health & Safety consultants.
As an Associate Consultant, you’ll partner with and shadow qualified consultants visiting clients to develop personalised H&S packages, working to build your understanding and competence and build on the fundamental skills required. As you progress, you’ll undertake H&S training courses, client-facing work, and progress to have your own portfolio of clients, cementing your learning and building relationships to take your career even further.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to embrace our high-performance culture and show a willingness to adapt and learn. The successful applicant will be based regionally, operating across the UK, reporting into our office in Swaffham, Norfolk and working as part of a larger consultancy team.
The aim of the role is to develop you into a full Consultant, where you will manage your own portfolio of existing clients as well as taking over management of new clients.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Develop your learning and knowledge with the help of experienced consultants
- Learn and champion our industry leading cloud-based systems and technology
- Undertake client visits with consultant team, visiting Farms and Estates and engaging directly with owner managers and their teams to capture information.
- Fulfilling clients’ needs within agreed timescales and maintaining positive working relationships to build lasting relationships.
- Deliver the highest level of customer service to our Farm and Estate clients.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality around client operations and sites.
- Acting as a facilitator and motivator within the client business to engage staff, persuade and encourage individuals and teams to become enthusiastic about health and safety and enable them to see the benefits of good practice.
- Operating in accordance with the company’s own internal Health and Safety policy, existing systems and standard procedures.
- Contribute to reviews of systems and content to ensure continuous improvement of our working practices.
- Supporting and attending marketing and trade events as required.
- Adopting and supporting the values of our business.
- Participating in team activities and engaging in the development of the team and the business.
- Providing management information and reports to the MD as required.
- Enrol on and complete industry recognised NEBOSH qualifications relevant to your role.
- Join or continue to be a member of IOSH and maintain CPD.
You will have a solid understanding of the rural environment. You will enjoy driving and travelling, and hold a full UK driving license. You will also have a pragmatic, flexible approach to work.
No previous experience or training required but you will be enthusiastic about safety, building a career and affecting change.
