Full job description

Are you looking for a stable and secure Trade Assistant role with a company that can help you develop your skills? Join Headlam, the UK’s largest flooring distributor, and get generous annual leave, colleague discount and much more.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

You Will

Working in close partnership with Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to provide a seamless extension of the main sales channel
Serve customers promptly and professionally, offering advice and where appropriate
Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes, including checking deliveries and preparing customer orders
Follow all health & safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents
Maintain stock levels, replenish shelves, and ensure the counter areas are clean, tidy, and well-presented

About you:

Computer/keyboard skills and ability to learn sales and ordering systems operation
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to build relationships
Good team working skills.
