Operations Admin Assistant - Ecommerce Business

KRD Catering Equipments Ltd is a fast-growing ecommerce business supplying commercial catering equipment across the UK.
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations Admin Assistant to support our customer service, admin and daily operations team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will help with customer service follow-ups, order updates, courier issues, returns, supplier communication, admin tasks and general operations support.
Main responsibilities:
- Help monitor customer service cases and follow-ups
- Respond to customer emails and calls when required
- Liaise with warehouse staff about orders, stock and dispatch issues
- Follow up with couriers regarding deliveries, damages and delays
- Help organise returns, warranty cases and parts requests
- Keep order notes, customer records and internal updates accurate
- Assist with invoices, paperwork and admin tasks
- Help coordinate communication between customer service, warehouse and management
- Support product/admin tasks when required
- Assist the wider team during busy periods
Requirements:
- Previous experience in admin, customer service or operations support preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and spoken English
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets and office software
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable, hard-working and able to follow processes
- Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced business
Nice to have, but not essential:
- Ecommerce experience
- Shopify, Zendesk, Xero or similar system experience
- Experience dealing with couriers, orders or stock issues
- Familiarity with catering equipment
