Overview
ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging company, supplying innovative packaging solutions to customers around the world. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Manager to oversee and enhance quality assurance processes at our Elsham site.
This is a hands-on management role where you'll lead the Quality team, oversee the site's Quality Management System and work with departments across the business to make sure we're consistently meeting customer, company and regulatory standards.
About the role
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Quality department, ensuring quality systems are maintained and continuously improved. You'll also work closely with Production, Engineering and Technical teams to resolve issues, improve processes and support the wider business.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing the site Quality team.
- Managing and maintaining the site's Quality Management System.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements and company procedures.
- Planning and leading internal and external audits.
- Investigating customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitoring quality performance and reporting on key quality measures.
- Working with Production and Engineering teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Supporting new product trials and validation activities.
- Developing quality procedures and ensuring they are followed across the site.
- Working with customers, suppliers and Group Quality where required.
About you
We're looking for someone who has experience managing quality within a manufacturing environment and enjoys working with people to solve problems and improve standards.
Essential:
- Experience in a Quality Manager or Senior Quality position, within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Good working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards.
- Knowledge of BRCGS Packaging, GMP or GFSI standards.
- Strong understanding of HACCP principles and their practical application.
- Experience leading internal and external audits.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience of root cause analysis and corrective actions, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or issues swiftly.
- Confident communicator who can work with people at all levels.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Desirable
- Experience within plastics, blown film, flexible packaging or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of polymer processing or film extrusion.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
