Colchester Borough Homes is an Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO) set up by Colchester City Council in 2003. We are an award-winning organisation and provide management and maintenance services to around 7,000 residential properties.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community by promoting and delivering physical activity initiatives. As part of our established team, the successful candidate will lead and coordinate engaging physical activity opportunities for Colchester Borough Homes customers, helping to improve health and well-being, reduce social isolation, and strengthen community involvement. Working collaboratively with customers, colleagues, and partner organisations, you will continue to develop and deliver activities that support healthier, more active lifestyles across our communities.

About you

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about inspiring others to stay active. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple physical activities effectively.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role requires working closely with customers, partners, and stakeholders to develop initiatives that remove barriers and encourage participation. Creative problem-solving and the ability to build positive relationships will be key to success in this role.
