Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Roofer to join our team , with immediate start. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The successful applicant will contribute to delivering high-quality roofing solutions that meet client specifications and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

Install new roofs using appropriate materials and techniques, ensuring durability and weather resistance.
Repair and maintain existing roofing structures, identifying issues such as leaks or damage.
Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent injury or damage.
Conduct masonry work or carpentry tasks as required for roof structures or supports.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing, construction, or related trades.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery.
Strong understanding of roofing materials and installation techniques, to high quality.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Good at dealing directly with customers.
Interest in Motorcycles - is a bonus!
