Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all components are correctly fitted and functioning efficiently. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety standards.
Duties
- Install solar panels on rooftops and ground-mounted systems according to specifications.
- No electrical work carried out in this position.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all job sites.
- Remove all waste before leaving site.
- May be asked to pick up panels from our storage yard before heading to site.
- Photograph all work before leaving site for sign off.
Requirements
- Proven experience with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical equipment is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to solar technology and installation techniques.
