Business Administration Apprentice

Duration: Apprenticeship Programme (2-year fixed term contract)
Qualification Gained: Business Administration

About the Opportunity

At Story Homes, we’re passionate about delivering high-quality homes and exceptional customer service. Our Aftercare Team plays a vital role in supporting homeowners once they have moved into their new home, ensuring any queries or issues are dealt with professionally and efficiently.

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification. You’ll receive support from experienced colleagues and develop the skills needed for a successful career in business administration and customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide administrative support to the Aftercare Team.
Answer telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Log customer requests and maintain accurate records using internal systems.
Schedule appointments for Aftercare Coordinators and Technicians.
Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and other business documentation.
Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
Support the team with general office administration, including scanning, filing, and data entry.
Attend training sessions and work towards completing your apprenticeship qualification.
Contribute positively to the business while delivering excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For

Eligibility to work in the UK
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (or a willingness to learn)
Ability to manage your time effectively and work as part of a team
A professional and customer-focused approach
An interest in business administration and delivering excellent customer service.
