Full job description

Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing, family-run organisation, working across The Meadows Wildlife Park, Playworks Childcare and Celtic Property Maintenance Services.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in high standards, and is confident working independently.

Responsibilities

Carrying out general maintenance and repair works across the wildlife park site
Electrical and plumbing maintenance (qualified essential)
Carpentry, fencing, and general building works
Grounds maintenance and outdoor works
Supporting and overseeing building extension and improvement projects
Working across domestic, commercial, and site-based projects via Celtic Property Maintenance Services
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Requirements

Qualified in Electrical and Plumbing works
Strong multi-trade background including carpentry, fencing, and building work
Valid CSCS card
Proven experience relating to the key skills or other
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
Full UK driving licence

Desirable (but not essential)

Previous site supervisor or site management experience
Experience working on extensions or larger building projects
Grounds maintenance experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
