POSITION: Security Guard – Corporate

LOCATION: Glasgow City Centre, G5

HOURS OF WORK:

42 Hours per week - Day Shift pattern only

42 Hours per week – Night Shift pattern only

REPORTING TO: Security Supervisor

Hire Type: Permanent

Security Agent rate: £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting a Corporate Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious office location in Glasgow. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional who is committed to delivering outstanding service while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for staff, visitors and contractors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Providing a professional front-of-house security presence.
Monitoring access and egress to the premises.
Conducting regular internal and external security patrols.
Managing visitor and contractor sign-in procedures.
Responding promptly and effectively to security incidents, alarms and emergencies.
Maintaining accurate records, incident reports and site documentation.
Supporting health and safety procedures across the site.
Delivering exceptional customer service to employees, visitors and stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

Valid SIA Security Guarding Licence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service focus and professional appearance.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Good IT and report-writing skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
