Property & Holiday Park Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property & Holiday Park Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of our portfolio of commercial properties, holiday park facilities, and grounds.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage both planned and reactive maintenance operations. The successful candidate will lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team while ensuring all properties, facilities, and outdoor spaces are maintained to an exceptional standard, providing a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment for customers, guests, tenants, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day maintenance operations across commercial properties and holiday park facilities.
- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and external service providers.
- Oversee repairs to buildings, infrastructure, utilities, accommodation units, and recreational facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance requirements and ensure high presentation standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and statutory inspections.
- Respond promptly to emergency repairs and operational issues.
- Support capital improvement projects, refurbishments, and site development initiatives.
- Liaise professionally with customers, guests, suppliers, and management teams.
- Coordinate seasonal maintenance and winterisation programmes.
- Assist with refurbishment projects, upgrades, and capital improvement works.
- Manage maintenance budgets and control expenditure.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support the long-term maintenance strategy for all assets.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in property, facilities, estate, or maintenance management.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, grounds maintenance, and property services.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent planning, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple sites and projects.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant trade qualification (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, building services, or similar).
- IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- Experience within the holiday park, leisure, hospitality, caravan park, or commercial property sectors.
