Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary
- Operate powder coating equipment to apply uniform finishes on metal products
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and defects
- Maintain and clean coating equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with loading and unloading materials within the warehouse or production area
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during operations
- Support other fabrication or assembly tasks as required, including using hand tools and power tools
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, and powder coating
- Experience in fabrication, construction painting, or warehouse environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with assembly procedures and the use of various hand tools is desirable
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team setting
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience in Powder coating or industrial settings will be beneficial
