Job Description:
As a Labourer at Cedar Spaces, you will assist with the construction and installation of garden buildings. You will work closely with our skilled team to ensure that all projects are completed to a high standard, contributing to both the carpentry and general construction tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in garden building construction.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and assembly of garden buildings.
- Performing basic carpentry tasks, such as cutting, measuring, and installing timber structures.
- Helping with groundwork, including site preparation and foundation work.
- Ensuring tools and materials are ready and organized.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Supporting senior carpenters and builders on larger projects.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience in labouring or construction work.
- Basic carpentry skills (ability to use hand and power tools, read measurements, etc.).
- Strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physically capable of handling manual work and lifting.
- Punctual, reliable, and a good team player.
- Must have own transport and basic tools.
