We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Broker to join our already successful and established financial services practice. We offer a broad range of business and financial services from traditional accountancy to bespoke business advice, specialist taxation services and corporate advice.
Role Purpose
As a Commercial Finance Broker, you are responsible for sourcing, structuring and delivering commercial finance solutions that help clients achieve their property and business objectives.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, introducers and professional networks, acting as a trusted adviser throughout the funding journey. You will leverage your market knowledge, commercial awareness and relationship-building skills to identify opportunities, secure funding solutions and deliver an outstanding client experience.
You take ownership of the deal lifecycle from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring applications are packaged effectively, progressed efficiently and managed in line with regulatory and company standards.
You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing introducer relationships and contributing to the continued success of White Label Financial Services.
Core Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and property finance clients
- Understand client objectives, financial circumstances and funding requirements
- Provide professional guidance on suitable finance solutions
- Deliver an outstanding client experience throughout the funding journey
- Act as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact throughout transactions
- Identify opportunities to support existing clients with additional funding requirements
Commercial Finance & Deal Structuring
- Source and structure finance solutions for commercial property acquisitions, developments and bridging finance requirements
- Advise clients on invoice finance, asset finance and wider commercial funding solutions
- Assess funding requirements and identify suitable lender options
- Structure complex transactions to maximise approval opportunities
- Prepare and present tailored finance proposals
- Negotiate commercial terms with lenders and funding partners
- Secure Agreements in Principle and formal lending offers
Business Development & Introducer Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with introducers and professional networks
- Generate new business opportunities through networking and relationship management
- Leverage existing relationships to identify lending opportunities
- Promote the services of White Label Financial Services professionally and effectively
- Support business growth objectives through proactive lead generation activities
- Contribute positively towards sales and revenue targets
Application Management & Delivery
- Assess applications and supporting documentation
- Package cases professionally and accurately for lender submission
- Liaise with lenders, underwriters, valuers, solicitors and clients throughout the transaction
- Manage applications from enquiry through to completion
- Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure transactions progress efficiently and client expectations are managed effectively
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all activity complies with FCA requirements and internal policies
- Maintain accurate records within CRM and business systems
- Document client interactions and advice appropriately
- Complete all compliance, due diligence and regulatory requirements
- Escalate risks, concerns or complex cases appropriately
- Maintain high standards of governance and professional conduct
Market Knowledge & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lender criteria, products and market developments
- Monitor emerging opportunities within commercial and specialist finance sectors
- Share market intelligence and best practice across the business
- Participate in professional development and industry learning activities
- Contribute positively towards process improvements and business growth initiatives
Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years' experience within commercial finance brokerage or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of commercial property finance and bridging loans
- Working knowledge of invoice finance, asset finance and wider commercial funding solutions
- Proven ability to structure and manage complex funding transactions
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of FCA compliance requirements
- Experience using CRM and broker management systems
- Strong organisational and pipeline management capability
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Commercially minded with strong business development capability
- Self-motivated, resilient and results-focused
Pay: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
