To continue the delivery of their growth focused vision, Ashbrook Roofing are searching for additional Experienced Roofer to bring their skills and strengths to the team.
Responsibilities include
The person responsible for their personal Health & Safety on their assigned project. Ensuring assigned roofing works are finished on time and in full to specific standards.
· Deliver self-motivation, energy, and direction on site to maximise productivity, fully deliver customer expectations and meet company targets.
· Actively take part in the day-to-day contracts work, including responsibility for Health & Safety (following specific RAMS and project specification sheets of toolbox talks, etc).
· Undertake the supervision of sites to ensure quality of workmanship and conformance to the speciation, budget and timeline, problem resolution. Ensuring customers are kept up to date with progress, and the scheduling and planning of resource and materials.
· Communicate in daily briefings with the rest of the team for the day’s objectives onsite.
· Help train and develop other roofing team members in their skills and bring in projects on time and to budget following British Standards.
· Provide extraordinary customer service to both external and internal customers.
· Deliver high standards of organisation, cleanliness and Health & Safety.
· To actively participate in the team, contributing to companies development, targets, and strategy.
Required skills & experience
You will have a positive outlook and can-do attitude, with the determination and self-discipline to deliver the project on time and in full to British standards, and manage your busy workload, delegating tasks to the team, whilst providing customers extraordinary service and consistency.
You will have experience gained from working within a similar role/environment and be able to demonstrate excellent technical, organisational, customer, development and management skills.
The role is split equally between the delivery on work on site, completing the project on time and in full, and building an effective relationship with the client. Maintaining the company culture, and core focus of the business through the strategy of the business and ensuring customer satisfaction comes first. The individual will need to demonstrate a professional, consistent and level-headed approach.
A high level of technical knowledge of roofing and building materials / industry knowledge is a requirement of this role.
· 6-year minimum roofing experience.

· Day 1 – First 3 months
o Probation period (make sure your and Ashbrook Roofing’s expectations align).
o Learning about the business and its day to day.
o Taking an insight into the companies systems and processes.
· 3 months – 6 months
o In depth education and understanding of toolbox talks and training videos.
o Online COSHH asbestos awareness course and qualification.
· 6 months – 12 months
o First aid responder course, giving you a first aider qualification.
o Getting started with leadership and management.
· 12 months – 24 months
o One day EPDM rubber roofing training course.
o NVQ level 3 Supervisor Gold Card.
o Essential 5-day welding and bossing course at Master Roofers Training Centre.
· 24 months onwards
o Comprehensive 30-day welding & bossing course at Master Roofers Training Centre.
o Re-enforced built up bitumen flat roofing course at IKO training centre.
o Bespoke training requirements highlighted and identified by yourself and the Senior Contracts Manager through the monthly one to ones.

Located in Matlock, Ashbrook Roofing Services head office is commutable by car from
Buxton, Chesterfield, Derby, Nottingham, and Sheffield.
