Overview
We are seeking a passionate and professional Massage Specialist to join our wellness studio in Stroud.

Japanese Head Spa Massage Specialist
Massage & Wellness Specialist
Holistic Massage Therapist
Head Spa & Massage Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in promoting relaxation and well-being through expert massage techniques.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in a tranquil environment dedicated to client health and relaxation.

Applicants should possess a friendly demeanour, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

We are looking for a friendly and professional woman massage therapist to join our calm and welcoming space in the centre of Stroud.

Role includes:

Japanese Head Spa treatments
Shoulder massages
Facial massage treatments
Relaxing massage
Deep tissue massage, aromatherapy

Experience required:

Minimum 2 years experience in massage therapy
Experience with facials or pedicures is a bonus
Holistic approach

What we offer:

Peaceful, secluded one-to-one environment
Women clients only
Appointment-only setting
Training provided
Flexible opportunity: self-employed or employed

Hours:

Part-time to start
3–4 days per week

Duties

Perform customised massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and aromatherapy massages.
Conduct client consultations to assess their requirements and preferences before each session.
Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and any relevant client information.
Provide advice on post-treatment care and recommend suitable wellness programmes or products when appropriate.
Ensure clients feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their sessions, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Stay informed about new massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.

Skills

Proven experience as a Massage Specialist or similar role within a wellness or spa environment.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy to ensure safe and effective massage techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.
Organised with good time management skills to handle appointments efficiently.
A friendly, approachable manner with a genuine passion for promoting health and relaxation. Candidates with anatomy knowledge will be highly regarded, as it enhances the quality of treatments delivered.
