Mobile Hydraulic Engineer

Amba Hydraulics Tilbury Ltd is a family-run hydraulic engineering business operating since 1989. Over the years, we have built a strong reputation for providing reliable hydraulic repairs, installations, servicing, and breakdown support across multiple industries. We pride ourselves on supporting our engineers, creating a positive working environment, and investing in the development of our team.

The Role

The successful candidate will work both on-site and at customer locations carrying out a variety of hydraulic engineering duties. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong fault-finding skills and experience working with hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing and fitting hydraulic hose assemblies
Manufacturing, replacing, and installing steel tube assemblies
Hydraulic fault finding and diagnostics
Carrying out servicing and maintenance work
Completing hydraulic installation projects
Attending breakdowns and carrying out on-site repairs
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintaining accurate job records and communicating effectively with customers

Requirements

Previous experience within hydraulic engineering or a similar mechanical role
Good understanding of hydraulic systems and components
Ability to diagnose and resolve hydraulic faults
Experience with hose and steel tube assembly manufacture preferred
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and good customer service skills
