Job Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor, where you'll develop essential skills in the dynamic world of financial services. Duties

Support senior mortgage advisors by preparing client documentation and assisting with application processes
Engage with clients to gather necessary financial information and understand their homeownership needs
Learn to evaluate clients’ financial situations using basic math skills to determine eligibility and suitable mortgage options
Assist in explaining mortgage products, terms, and conditions clearly and confidently to clients
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, application statuses, and compliance documentation
Participate in training sessions to deepen your understanding of financial services regulations and industry best practices
Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and updates on client progress

Requirements

Genuine interest in financial services and a desire to build a career as a mortgage advisor
Basic math skills for calculating figures related to loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment plans
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and effectively
Ability to work well within a team environment and take direction from experienced professionals
High level of motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn new skills
Previous experience in customer service or sales is a plus but not essential; training will be provided
A proactive attitude with attention to detail and compliance standards
