The Role

We are seeking a Relationship Manager – Capital Engagement to join our Member Services team. This role is central to delivering a high-quality, consistent experience for Lloyd’s capital stakeholders, including investors, members, investment managers and advisers.

You will act as a single point of contact, managing relationships within your portfolio while coordinating responses to queries across Lloyd’s. This is a collaborative role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to navigate a complex, matrix environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop professional relationships with a portfolio of capital stakeholders, maintaining insight into their priorities and risks
Coordinate end-to-end responses to stakeholder queries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication
Support the onboarding of new members, investors, and capital structures by working across multiple internal teams
Help stakeholders navigate processes, requirements, and frameworks (including M&URs), ensuring clarity without providing advisory input
Capture and analyse stakeholder insight to inform engagement planning and service improvements
Identify and escalate risks, issues, and complaints in line with regulatory expectations
Contribute to management information and reporting on stakeholder trends and service performance
Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and stakeholder experience

Key skills:

Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and deliver outcomes in a matrix environment
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly
Sound judgement and ability to manage, prioritise and escalate issues effectively
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Knowledge & experience:

Experience in relationship or stakeholder management within a regulated or complex environment
Understanding of financial services or insurance markets (knowledge of Lloyd’s market structure is advantageous)
Experience coordinating complex queries or working across multiple functions
Familiarity with risk, governance and regulatory frameworks (including FCA expectations)
Ability to use insight and data to identify trends and drive improvements
