Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and sheet metal fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality fabrication projects in a dynamic environment, ensuring precision and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

Perform Laser welding and other welding techniques on various materials, primarily sheet metal components.
Fabricate, assemble, and modify metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues and suggest improvements for efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience in sheet metal assembly fabrication.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Experience working with sheet metal and performing fabrication tasks from technical drawings.
Mechanical knowledge combined with basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
Prior experience in assembly processes is advantageous but not essential. This role requires attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should be organised, reliable, and committed to producing high-quality work in a timely manner.

Pay: £12.71-£13.20 per hour
