Baker – Kirkton Bakehouse, Arbroath
Location: Arbroath, Kirkton industrial Estate
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Start Times: Earliest start from 7:00am
Schedule: Weekday and weekend shifts on a rotating basis
Our Kirkton Bakehouse is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Baker to join our growing team in Arbroath.

About the Role
As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and producing a range of bakery products to the highest standards. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll help ensure our products are freshly baked, beautifully presented, and ready for our customers each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, mixing, shaping and baking a variety of breads, pastries and baked goods
- Following recipes and production schedules accurately
- Monitoring product quality and consistency throughout the baking process
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation
- Managing stock levels and reporting ingredient requirements
- Assisting with product development and seasonal specials where appropriate
- Working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
What We're Looking For
Bakery experience is essential.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working in a bakery environment
- Be passionate about baking and producing quality products
- Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work early mornings
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to consistency
- Hold knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Must be over 18
