Part-Time Retail Sales Assistant – Tweed Road Stores & Marmion Road Stores

Location: Galashiels
Hours: Part-Time – 24 Hours Per Week
Salary: Competitive Rate of Pay

Adam Purves Retail Ltd is looking for a motivated and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team, working across Tweed Road Stores and Marmion Road Stores in Galashiels.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established family business with a strong reputation for customer service and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
Operate tills and handle cash accurately.
Replenish stock and maintain product availability.
Carry out date checking and stock rotation.
Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well presented.
Assist with deliveries and merchandising.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Support colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Friendly and approachable personality.
Excellent communication skills.
Reliable, honest and trustworthy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
