Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Reservationist based in Lartington Hall in Barnard Castle, this role is vital in ensuring smooth guest interactions and reservations, aligning with our mission to provide outstanding service from the booking of their wedding through to their stay. Some of the role will be public facing helping guests in person but a majority of it will be admin based assisting our couples with their accommodation needs in the run up to their big day.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage reservations efficiently using our booking systems.
- Handle phone inquiries with excellent etiquette.
- Provide information about our venue and services.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- Support event bookings and special requests.
- Uphold the company's standards of hospitality at all times.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in guest services or hospitality roles.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service orientation.
- Ability to handle reservations accurately and efficiently.
- Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude.
- Previous hotel or venue experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of reslynx reservation systems is preferred.
