Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Beauty Therapist to join our friendly and professional well-being team, a person who has a passion for health and wellbeing like we do and who delivers excellent customer service.
We offer an extensive training and development programme, including in-house treatments and external training with the skin care company ESPA.
Please note we are in a rural setting with no public transport therefore it is essential to be able to drive and have your own car.
Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday weekly. Working on a monthly rota to include 9.30am until 5.30pm working days and once to twice a month a late shift which is 12pm-8pm. The candidate needs to be able to commit to every Saturday from 8.30am until 4.30pm.
Duties
- Provide a range of beauty and holistic therapies such as Massage, Facials , Japanese Head Spa including manicures and pedicures with gel and BIAB.
- Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs and preferences
- Recommend appropriate beauty treatments and products
- Keep work areas clean and organised
- Stay up-to-date with beauty trends and techniques
Please note you do not have to be trained in holistic therapies but it is desirable if you have extra qualifications such as Reflexology, Reiki or other alternative therapies.
Qualifications
-Level 2 and 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy - Please note: Pay depends on experience within the industry and will be discussed during interview and trade test.
-Salon or Spa experience is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with confident English
