Dog Groomer
Stamford, Lincolnshire & Oakham, Rutland
We're looking for a groomer to join the team at Soap & Furry Pet Grooming.
We have opportunities available in both Stamford and Oakham, with full or part-time hours considered.
Immediate start available. We have an established client base and are fortunate to have more demand than we can currently keep up with, so there's plenty of work for the right person.

Stamford
We're happy to consider newer groomers with a good portfolio and the right attitude. If you're keen to continue learning and developing your skills, we'll provide support and guidance as you grow.
Oakham
For our Oakham salon, we're looking for someone with enough experience and confidence to work independently and manage their own day while maintaining the standard our clients have come to expect.
We'd love to hear from someone who:
- Always puts the dog's welfare first.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work.
- Is reliable, trustworthy and hardworking.
- Has good customer service skills.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Is confident carrying out breed standard trims, pet trims and hand stripping to a high standard.
- Enjoys learning and is always looking to improve.
- Can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Is happy to get involved with all aspects of the salon, including answering the phone, managing bookings, taking payments, cleaning and general day-to-day tasks.
A portfolio of your work will be required with your application.
A Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) is preferred, but we're more interested in the standard of your work, your attitude and your willingness to keep developing than simply the number of years you've been grooming.
