Full job description

Job Introduction

Landmarc are hiring an experienced governance and assurance professional to lead the governance framework, performance reporting and quality assurance across our Information & Technology department. Reporting to the Head of I&T, you’ll provide independent assurance that our services, programmes and operations align with strategy, organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.

Role Details

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 (DOE)
Car Allowance: £7,2000 p/a
Location: Westdown Camp, Tilshead, Salisbury, SP3 4RS
Contract: Permanent, Mon – Fri, 37 hrs, Hybrid (2 days in office)

Landmarc provides the essential support services that enable Armed Forces to train for frontline operations across the UK Defence Training Estate. We maintain safe, sustainable infrastructure, operate training areas and ranges, and deliver major projects that enhance vital military training assets. What you’ll do

Lead and evolve the I&T Governance Framework
Oversee governance documentation, policies and standards
Produce executive dashboards, KPIs and performance reports
Manage departmental risk, financial governance and benefits tracking
Lead operational, supplier and quality assurance reviews
Drive capability maturity, lessons learned and continual improvement
Manage the Test Team Leader, Test Analysts and IT Coordinator
Coordinate governance meetings, audits and senior level reporting

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong experience in IT Governance, PMO, Assurance or Operational Management
Proven ability to develop governance frameworks and performance reporting
Experience managing organisational risk and producing executive‑level reports
Solid understanding of IT service management principles
Confident stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills
UK driving licence (for travel between Landmarc locations)

Desirable

ITIL v4
COBIT
MSP, PRINCE2 or PMP
ISO 9001 / ISO 31000
