Full job description

HGV Class 2 Driver / IPAF Operator

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver / IPAF Operator to join our team.

The role involves driving our truck-mounted access platforms to customer sites, towing a trailer carrying additional access equipment where required, unloading the equipment, and safely operating our access platforms for customers carrying out work at height.

Key Responsibilities

Drive HGV Class 2 truck-mounted access platforms to customer sites.
Tow a trailer carrying access equipment where required.
Safely unload and set up access equipment.
Operate truck-mounted access platforms and other access equipment for customers.
Carry out daily vehicle and equipment safety checks.
Work safely in accordance with health and safety procedures.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Complete all required paperwork and defect reports.

Requirements

Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
Driver CPC
IPAF qualification preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate).
Comfortable working at height.
Good awareness of health and safety.
Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
