The Strategy and Transformation Directorate within MPFT are looking to recruit a B6 Project Manager to support a range of commercial activities over the coming months.
These posts are being offered on a fixed term basis only for 6 months and will be for 30hrs per week.

- The post holder will manage the planning and execution of multiple projects.
- The post holder will independently manage a range of projects (subject to a level of complexity appropriate to the role) and will, on occasion provide project support to large/complex projects whilst supporting Senior Project Managers
- The post holder will work closely with Project Managers and Business Leads to support Care Groups and Corporate Teams to deliver positive and sustainable change for service users and staff through effective delivery of projects and initiatives
- The post holder will support the Project Managers/Owners on developing project documentation, including identifying project scope, milestones and priority
- A key part of the role will be to build positive relationships through good excellent communication and engagement with Stakeholders

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Support the delivery of organisational, directorate and Care Group objectives through effective project management and transformation activities.
Apply recognised project management methodologies and ensure compliance with organisational project management and transformation frameworks.
Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery of agreed objectives, benefits, quality standards, budgets and timescales.
Support project teams in selecting appropriate project management approaches and methodologies.
Develop project mandates, briefs, plans and governance arrangements, defining scope, milestones, risks, benefits and performance measures.
Engage stakeholders across clinical, operational and corporate services to ensure project objectives, deliverables and benefits are clearly defined and measurable.
Establish effective governance structures, project meetings, reporting arrangements and decision-making processes.
Maintain project documentation, libraries, reporting systems, risk registers, issue logs, action logs and benefit tracking mechanisms.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, implement mitigation plans and escalate concerns where required.
Manage project changes, exceptions and conflicting stakeholder priorities, ensuring decisions are formally documented and approved.
Produce progress reports, highlight reports, presentations and assurance updates for stakeholders and governance groups.
Support the development of business cases, service improvement proposals and tender submissions through research, stakeholder engagement, analysis and coordination.
Maintain and update project management systems, tender portals and reporting databases.
Systems and Resources
Use Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project and project management platforms to manage and report project activity.
Maintain information databases and utilise finance, invoicing and risk management systems as required.
Decision Making
Prioritise workload and manage responsibilities autonomously within organisational policies and procedures.
Analyse complex information, evaluate options and make recommendations to support project and service objectives.
Monitor project performance and adjust plans to ensure milestones and objectives are achieved.
Manage governance processes, decision logs, action tracking and audit trails.
Lead designated service development projects through successful implementation.
Communication and Relationship Management
Build effective relationships with Transformation Teams, Care Groups, corporate services and external stakeholders.
Communicate project progress, risks, issues and outcomes through reports, presentations and stakeholder engagement activities.
Present complex information in a clear and accessible manner to a range of audiences.
Facilitate meetings, workshops and discussions to encourage collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Influence and negotiate effectively, managing objections and identifying practical solutions.
Deliver positive change and service improvements in partnership with clinical and operational teams.
Provide guidance, support and mentoring to colleagues and contribute to team development activities.
Working Environment
Primarily desk-based with extensive use of IT systems and project management software.
Travel may be required to attend meetings, events and service locations.
Work requires sustained concentration, management of competing priorities and adherence to strict deadlines.
Responsible for monitoring performance data, producing reports and ensuring project objectives remain on track.
Non-patient-facing role with occasional incidental contact with service users.
