Track Marshal

Location: Daytona Tamworth
Department: Venue Operations
Reporting to: Senior Track Marshal / Duty Manager

Looking for an active, hands‑on role where no two days are the same? As a Track Marshal at Daytona Tamworth, you’ll be right at the heart of the racing action, helping deliver safe, professional, and exciting events at the Midlands’ largest outdoor racing track.

About Daytona & Tamworth

Daytona is one of the UK’s leading karting operators, delivering professionally run race events with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and customer experience. Daytona Tamworth is the Midlands’ largest outdoor racing track, offering a fast and technical circuit and hosting arrive‑and‑drive sessions, corporate events, leagues, and endurance racing. This creates a varied and fast‑paced working environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

The Role

As a Track Marshal, you will play a key role in the safe and smooth running of race sessions. Working trackside and in the pit lane, you will assist drivers, respond to on‑track incidents, and support race control while delivering a professional customer experience.

This is a physical, outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys staying alert, working as part of a team, and being involved in live events.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Monitor assigned areas of the circuit during live sessions
Use flags, lights, and radio communication in line with procedures
Respond to on‑track incidents and recover karts safely
Support pit lane and start/finish operations
Assist with circuit setup and basic safety checks
Communicate incidents or safety concerns to Race Control
Deliver a friendly, professional experience for all customers
Keep trackside and marshal areas clean and organised

What We’re Looking For

An interest in motorsport or live events
Strong awareness and ability to stay calm under pressure
Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor, active work
Professional and confident when interacting with customers
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays
A positive attitude and strong commitment to safety

Pay: £8.05-£12.75 per hour
