Full job description

Help bring some of the most exciting and inclusive competitions in football to audiences everywhere.

As Broadcast Manager at The FA, you'll play a leading role in delivering world-class broadcast operations across the Adobe Women's FA Cup and FA Disability Cup. Working closely with broadcasters, production partners and stakeholders, you'll oversee the planning, coordination and matchday delivery of broadcast services, ensuring every fixture is delivered to the highest standards and reaches fans in the best possible way.

Given the dynamic nature of football and live broadcasting, this role requires flexibility to work outside standard business hours when needed.

What will you be doing?

Act as the primary point of contact for all broadcast-related matters across the Women's FA Cup and the Disability FA Cup, supporting broadcast partners in delivering their contractual rights.
Ensure broadcast operations are fully integrated into the wider event delivery plan, acting as the key liaison between broadcasters, stadium management teams and FA event operations personnel.
Manage broadcasters' operational requirements in the lead-up to and on event days, including accreditation, venue access, studio facilities, camera positions, broadcast compounds, gantry layouts, reporter access and interview requests.
Manage the Women's FA Cup fixture scheduling process, working closely with broadcasters, clubs and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate site visits and manage all broadcast logistics for each event.
Identify and resolve operational issues to ensure high-quality delivery and exceptional stakeholder service.
Ensure the timely distribution of broadcast and content assets to all relevant stakeholders, coordinating technical workflows and integrations across FA platforms, including the FA Broadcast Portal.
Plan and deliver broadcast productions for Women's FA Cup draws in collaboration with production partners and internal teams.
Oversee the onboarding, scheduling and payment administration of Match Managers across the Women's FA Cup competition.
Execute additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.

What are we looking for?

Essential for the role:

Experience of television operations ideally in the sports industry.
Thorough understanding of the broadcast industry covering: media rights, scheduling, production and operational delivery.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to build relationships and manage conflict effectively.

Beneficial to have:

Experience working in a commercial environment.
Knowledge of Women's and/or disability football.

Currently, we are working within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model, and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
