Job summary:
We are recruiting for a Project Worker to join a team committed to the prevention of child sexual abuse. You will play a pivotal role in the effective delivery of LFF programmes and the operation of our Family and Friends Forum.
We run three evidence informed programmes. Inform is a psycho-educational programme for adult close family and friends of men arrested for online offending behaviour including non-offending partners. Inform Plus and Engage Plus are psycho-educational programmes for those who have been arrested, cautioned or convicted for online offences involving sexual images of children or sexual communications with children. As part of this role you will:
- Work across all three programmes, facilitating delivery as required.
- Assist with evaluation and quality assurance of our Inform, Inform Plus and Engage Plus programme delivery and observation.
- Assist with programme development, manual updates, induction of new staff.
- Increase resilience in terms of staff rotas and delivery (i.e. covering for sickness).
- Lead on scoping papers for programme development.
The Family and Friends Forum is a safe and supportive environment for family and friends of those who have offended online to share their own experiences and to read about the experiences of others. Users can access peer support which helps them feel less isolated, more informed and gain a sense of hope for the future. As part of this role you will:
- Lead on the forum moderation following threads and those who post on the forum, staying closer to the narrative. It will also allow us to be more proactive in our moderation and gives us a stronger voice on the forum.
- Contribute to the training of other moderators of the forum and staff induction.
- Lead on scoping papers to look at the possibilities of greater service user involvement in the forum.
