Management Accountant

Barnsley | Competitive Package

We're looking for a commercially and operationally minded Management Accountant to join our finance team, supporting two manufacturing sites.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in financial reporting, cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting, and driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the senior finance presence on site, providing financial leadership and support to the wider business
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
Cashflow forecasting and banking activities
Budgeting and forecasting support
VAT and statutory reporting assistance
Supporting audit processes and financial controls
Identifying and implementing process improvements

About You

ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Senior Management Accountant or Financial Controller role
Strong Excel and financial systems skills
Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, hands-on and detail-oriented approach
Manufacturing or engineering sector experience preferred
