Job Title: Experienced Property Maintenance Technician

Location: South Yorkshire (No overnight stays)

Job Type: Full-Time

Landlord Property Services is a, leading property maintenance company, family-owned business, based just of Jct 31 of the M1, dedicated to providing high-quality property maintenance services to the lettings industry. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and well-maintained properties for our clients, whether corporate or private landlords.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician with proven experience in property maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, highly organized, and committed to providing a professional high quality service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on residential and/or commercial properties
A multi-skilled approach to all works - the role is extremely varied
Troubleshoot and repair, general property maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical works
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls
Ensure properties meet safety, health, and compliance standards
Maintain accurate records of work performed via tablet diary, materials used, and time spent
Apply a professional approach at all times, whether directly with the client or tenant

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in property/building maintenance or related field
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
Ability to read technical manuals, and work orders
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Physical ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform manual labor as needed

Preferred but not required:

Basic knowledge of electrical or plumbing, or other relevant trade certifications

Basic hand tools are required, however, the business will provide any other tools/equipment required in order to complete works together with materials
