About You

We are looking for a professional and energetic Construction End-point Assessor that is quality driven to join our team.
In this role, you will predominantly carry out End-point Assessment for Level 3 Building Services. Engineering apprenticeship standards, particularly Service and Maintenance and related installation/craft pathways where you hold current occupational competence.
You will bring a professional manner, sound judgement and the ability to manage your own assessment caseload, making valid assessment decisions while meeting required deadlines, quality standards and service level agreements for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting End-point Assessments within your trade area(s)

Ensure timely completion of all required assessment follow up and documentation within the EPA system in line with quality assurance requirements and service level agreements

Attend and contribute to standardisation events for End-point Assessment

Manage your own caseload of apprentices through their End-point Assessment

Report any safeguarding, Health and Safety, Assessment centre concerns to the Centre Manager and / or Health and Safety Manager

Provide assessment feedback within service level agreements and timescales

Ensure all information is kept secure at all times

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Assessor Conduct requirements

Achieve and maintain Green assessor status

Complete trade CPD in accordance with company requirements

Complete training as required to maintain competence

Meet audit and quality requirements as directed by the CEC senior management team

Maintain all assessment areas to a high standard and ensure adequate resources are available for assessments as required

Support the development team with reviews of current assessment materials, assessment plan revisions, new standard developments (within your trade area(s)) Support with Training and Induction of new assessors (where required) within your trade area(s)
Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications

Occupational competence in Building Services Engineering at or above Level 3
- Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 / Advanced Apprenticeship or equivalent)

Assessor qualification (A1, D32/33, TAQA)

Recent and relevant industry experience (normally within the last 23 years) · Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and competence-based assessment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using online assessment systems and remote assessment tools
- Ability to work independently while meeting quality and compliance standards.
Desirable Skills / Experience / Qualifications

Level 3 Award in End-Point Assessment (or willingness to work towards)
- IQA qualification (V1, D34, TAQA IQA)
- Previous experience delivering EPA or regulated vocational assessment
- Familiarity with Skills England, , Ofqual, and EQA frameworks.
