The opportunity

This is an employed role, based in Aberdeen with hybrid working options.

This firm is looking for a part-time financial planner to join their expanding Aberdeen based business, someone who shares values of integrity, care, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help clients make confident financial decisions.

The firm provide high-quality, client-centred financial planning across wealth, retirement, investments, and protection. You will work with an established and growing client bank, providing holistic financial planning tailored to client needs. The role includes a blend of remote and face-to-face advice, depending on the clients’ requirements.

You will be required to grow client bank based on referrals and networking.

What will you need to succeed?

You will be a great fit if you are:

Level 4 Diploma (DipFA / DipPFS / equivalent) qualified - Essential
Chartered or working towards - Desirable
Experienced in regulated financial advice (even if you’ve taken a career break)
Strong at building rapport and understanding client needs
Ethical, client-focused, and aligned to positive consumer outcomes
Comfortable working part-time and managing your workflow independently
Tech-savvy enough to use modern CRM and planning tools
