Join Our Growing Service Team
We are a well-established and respected fire sprinkler company delivering inspection, maintenance, repair and installation services across a wide range of sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised and motivated Service Coordinator to join our busy Service Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and customer service skills who is looking to build a long-term career in a technical service environment. Previous fire sprinkler experience is not essential. Full training, ongoing development and clear opportunities for progression will be provided.
The Role
As a Service Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our service and maintenance operations. Working closely with the Service Manager, engineers, subcontractors and customers, you will help ensure service activities are planned, communicated and completed efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesService Coordination
- Schedule engineers for planned maintenance, reactive call-outs and remedial works.
- Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and provide updates.
- Manage incoming service requests via telephone and email.
- Monitor job progress, engineer attendance and outstanding actions.
Administration & Compliance
- Raise and process work orders, quotations and purchase orders.
- Maintain customer records within the service management system.
- Ensure service reports, maintenance records and compliance documentation are processed accurately and on time.
- Support departmental administration and reporting requirements.
Billing & Accounts Support
- Provide billing data based on completed service work and agreements.
- Support the accounts team with invoicing cover and resolving billing queries.
- Assist with month-end processes and sales ledger reporting when required.
- Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable:
- Experience in coordination, scheduling, administration or customer service.
- Experience within engineering, construction, facilities management or service industries.
- Familiarity with CRM or service management software.
- Experience supporting billing or finance administration.
