eesside University is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking pharmacist educator to support the continued development of our innovative MPharm programme and pharmacist independent prescribing provision.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and ambitious team at a pivotal stage in the development of pharmacy education within the region. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of clinical skills teaching, prescribing education, simulation and practice-based learning across undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programmes.

The role will involve teaching and assessment across the MPharm programme, contribution to OSCEs and clinical skills delivery, and support for the implementation and growth of pharmacist independent prescribing education.
We welcome applications from UK registered Healthcare Professionals holding a prescibing qualification from all backgrounds: community, hospital, primary care, GP practice, specialist services, prescribing practice or academia who are keen to shape the future pharmacy workforce within the North East and beyond.

The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.
