Job Title: HR Advisor (Maternity Cover)
Hours of work: This is a part-time, fixed term position required for 12 months, 25 hours per week (worked over 5 days) (Mon to Fri – 9:00am till 2:00pm).
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 (FTE) dependent on experience.
About Us
Bridge Case Management is a family-run, friendly team of Case Managers, working with clients and the litigating parties involved in personal injury claims. We specialise in cases that usually involve orthopaedic injuries and/or amputation, psychological issues, and pain. Many of these are complex. We work with the lawyers and insurers who are involved as a result of our clients’ personal injury claims. We create unique multidisciplinary teams for each client, acting as a “project manager” for those involved in the rehabilitation plan, while liaising with the litigating parties to ensure funds are available.
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised HR Advisor to oversee the administrative functions of our HR processes and be the liaison for the Directors, with the wider team for a period of maternity cover.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the COO in developing and implementing HR policies and ensuring we maintain a regulatory approach to all activities.
The ideal candidate will be able to foster a positive and nurturing work environment but being able to manage challenging situations when required.
The main responsibilities of the HR Advisor role are (but not limited to):
- Managing the recruitment pathway to include pre and post recruitment tasks
- Advising on HR processes within the wider team
- Reviewing and updating current HR processes and policies
- Management of HR database
- Sickness recording, monitoring and wellbeing checks
- Management of ER processes in partnership with the Directors
- Be the liaison for all HR issues for the wider team
- Producing monthly reports for the SMT
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate for this will have:
- ·A strong understanding of employment law and best practice
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent desirable
- A minimum of 3 years’ HR generalist experience
- Experience with using HR systems
- Proven skills in supporting a diverse team
- Experience of leading change
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality best practices
As this role is a standalone role, experience in a standalone role is preferred but not essential
